BRAVE Project

BRAVE Project is working to create a circle of safety and opportunity for vulnerable children, ensuring they can learn without fear. By strengthening child protection systems to combat bullying and violence, providing professional development for teachers, and actively breaking down barriers like supporting girls’ education with menstrual health management the project fosters a more inclusive and resilient learning environment. Through community dialogue, back-to-school campaigns, and the empowerment of local leaders and committees, this 12-month initiative, led by a consortium including ZOA and PALM Corps, is building a foundation where every child has the chance to access a quality primary education and thrive in Imvepi refugee settlement, Terego District Northern Uganda.
